Artist Biography

Zachary Fisher

Zachary Fisher

Zachary James Fisher, tenor, is thrilled to return to the Blue Hill Bach Festival. He attended the University of Maine where he completed bachelor’s degrees in vocal performance and music education. A student of Francis John Vogt, Zachary placed first in the 2020 Maine NATS competition and in 2018 was named the winner of the Barbara C. Littlefield Singing Competition by the Rossini Club in Portland, Maine. Most recently, he sang with the University of Maine Singers as well as Orono’s critically-acclaimed chamber choir Euphony. Zachary is currently an elementary music teacher in West Brookfield, Massachusetts.
