Victor Bento

Victor Bento

Victor Bento, a Brazilian countertenor, merges a rich tradition of church musicianship with early piano roots, later transitioning to vocal performance. Holding degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance, along with a master’s in Musicology, he completed his master’s in Vocal Performance at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Currently, he pursues a Doctorate in Musical Arts at the Frost School of Music, University of Miami. Notable performances include Socrates by E. Satie at Theatro São Pedro and Rodelinda by G. F. Handel with Opera Neo in San Diego. Praised as a rising talent by the South Florida Classical Review, Victor’s dedication and artistry stand out. Winner of the Linus Lerner International Singing Competition – Brazil Edition 2020 and the National Association of Teachers of Singing Competition – New England 2023, he underscores his unwavering commitment to musical excellence.
