A native of Brooklin, Maine, Ellenore Tarr is pursuing a Masters of Music in Choral Conducting at Houghton College in western New York. A regular member of the Blue Hill Bach ensemble since 2012, Elly has been heard as a soloist in Handel’s Messiah, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Handel’s Parnasso in festa and Dido and Aeneas. She has also performed locally with the Bagaduce Chorale, Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Maine, and Bagaduce Pops. She enjoys reading, writing, being outdoors, studying midwifery, leading worship, and hosting friends.
