Dillon Parker

Dillon Parker

Dillon Parker recently earned his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, where he began studying baroque trumpet in 2021 with Josh Cohen. Dillon won Second Prize at the North American Baroque Trumpet Competition in April 2022. He has since performed with the Washington Bach Consort, The Thirteen, the Smithsonian Academy Orchestra, Seraphic Fire, Bach Akadamie Charlotte, and the Ottawa Bach Choir.

During his coursework at the Peabody Institute, Dillon studied modern trumpet with Anthony Prisk of the Philadelphia Orchestra. Dillon also holds degrees from California State University, Long Beach and the University of North Dakota.
