Lauded by the Washington Post as “a fine young soprano with a lovely voice,” and by the San Francisco Chronicle as “a wonder to hear,” soprano Michele Kennedy is a versatile specialist in classical and contemporary music. Recent highlights include debuts with Bach Society of St. Louis in Poulenc’s Gloria, San Francisco Ballet in Mendelssohn’s Midsummer, Trinity Wall Street in Handel’s Messiah, and San Francisco Symphony in Bach’s St. John Passion. This season she’ll sing digital world premieres with Lorelei Ensemble, Opera Lafayette, and Kaleidoscope Vocal Ensemble. She’s thrilled to join Blue Hill Bach and Zenith Ensemble for this delightful holiday program in the same gorgeous corner of Maine that her husband’s family calls home.
