Artist Biography

Natasha Roule

Natasha Roule

Natasha Roule holds a PhD in historical musicology from Harvard University. Her research explores the interplay of opera, politics, and parody in the 17th and 18th centuries. Natasha has presented widely on her research, giving guest lectures and panel presentations at the Harvard Art Museums, Catholic University of America, and the National Cathedral Choral Society. She has taught at Harvard University, George Mason University, and Aquilon Music Festival, where she organized the modern premiere of the 17th-century opera parody La chûte de Phaëton in July 2018.
